Hi! I'm Daniel. I'm a commercial and editorial photographer from Seattle, Washington. I specialize in outdoor adventure lifestyle, product, and portrait photography.

I create images to inspire folks to get outside, seek adventure, and connect with wild places. Capturing real moments on real misadventures got me hooked. Now I bring the studio on location and the outdoors into the studio, treating the production process as a team sport and thriving when problem-solving in creative collaboration.

My work has been featured by REI, Outside Magazine, the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, The Wall Street Journal, Therm-a-Rest, MSR, evo, Fly Fisherman Magazine, The Flyfish Journal, and the Fly Fishing Film Tour, among others.

When I'm not playing with light, you might catch me backcountry skiing, river running, mountain biking, or looking for my Creedence tapes in a van down by the river.
