Hey, I'm Dan. I'm a commercial and editorial photographer from Seattle, Washington, specializing in outdoor adventure lifestyle, product, and portrait photography.

I create images to inspire folks to get outside, seek adventure, and connect with wild places. Capturing real moments on real misadventures got me hooked. Now I bring the studio on location and the outdoors into the studio, treating the production process as a team sport and thriving when problem-solving in creative collaboration.

My work has been featured by REI, Outside Magazine, the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, The Wall Street Journal, Therm-a-Rest, MSR, evo, Fly Fisherman Magazine, The Flyfish Journal, and the Fly Fishing Film Tour, among others.

In my free time, I enjoy playing with light, backcountry skiing, river floating, and backpacking the Cascades.
